72V battery + 60a, 5000w peak ebike conversion kit
PLEASE NOTE THIS KIT IS TO BE USED OFF PUBLIC ROADS AND/OR ON PRIVATE PROPERTY WITH THE NECESSARY PERMISSIONS ONLY. For an ebike to be UK road compliant it has to have a maximum power output of 250 watts and limited to 15.5mph. Please visit the GOV.UK site for more information.
Complete kit with one of my batteries in the 72v range and 60a sinewave controller kit. You will not need anything else other than a donor bike to be converted.
The battery options provided are the ones below:
- 72v 20ah option, this is the shortest range option but also the cheapest option if your budget is tight. This is also your only option if your frame is rather small as this battery is smaller than the 72v 24ah and 72v 30ah https://epoweruk.net/products/72v-20ah-80a-bluetooth-ant-bms
- 72v 24ah option, this is my next biggest 72v pack, provides fantastic ride time while still being a cheaper option compared to the 72v 30ah version. https://epoweruk.net/products/untitled-23aug_19-43
- 72v 30ah option is my biggest 72v pack. It is the longest lasting battery between the three option but also the most expensive one. Physical size wise, the 72v 24ah and 72v 30ah are the same size. I would definitely raccomend going for this pack if budget and space in the frame allow to do so. https://epoweruk.net/products/72v-30ah-60a-bms-triangle-ebike-battery

All components and connectors will be matching and compatible with each other.
This is how I calculated the peak power written in the title
The controller is 60a but at peak it draws closer to 70a. A 72v battery full charged is 84v but lower under full load because of voltage sag. So rough calculation (65a current)×(78v)= 5070w, rounded it to 5000w
